The Magic of Finishing!
January 28 – 29, 2015
This year, Lockheed Martin is offering two tour opprotunities. Florida Finishers Corp sincerely appreciates their gratious hospitality. Each tour is limited to 20 persons on a first come, first serve basis. A box lunch will be provided for each person on either tour. The tour options for this year are:
Tour 1 – Missiles and Fire Control
The MFC tour will entail an introduction video of the company, a tour of the Fire Control Factory, the Machine Operations Center and our Museum. The estimated time for this tour is 2.5 hours.
Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA and dozens of foreign allies. MFC also offers a wide range of products and services for the global civil nuclear power industry and the military’s green power initiatives. MFC offers the vital capabilities needed to provide our war fighting and civilian customers the products and services they need in their defining moments.
Tour 2 – Mission Systems and Training
The MST Tour will entail a brief presentation by a Program/Production manager regarding the impact of the plating industry to MST’s products and services, a tour of the machining areas at MST, a tour of the new “Demo” center showcasing the latest technologies and simulators, and finally we are trying to add a chance for the team members to fly on a simulator used by pilots to train. The estimated time for this tour is 4 hours.
MST provides surface, air and undersea applications on more than 460 programs for U.S. military and international customers. The same expertise we provide to military customers is being applied to increase capabilities of U.S. and international civilian agencies. Our vision for MST is to set performance standards for our customers worldwide, every day with the best people, best systems, and best services.
