Grieve’s No. 887 cabinet oven is a gas-fired 1,000°F unit used for curing metal coatings onto parts. Workspace dimensions are 38 × 38 × 38.  The unit features a 175,000 Btu/hr.- modulating natural gas burner to heat the chamber, while a 2,000-cfm, 2-hp stainless steel recirculating blower provides a horizontal airflow to the workload. The oven has an aluminized steel exterior; Type 304, 2B finish stainless steel interior; and inner and outer door gaskets that are designed to seal against the door plug and front face of the oven. The oven also has 8”-thick insulated oven walls, consisting of 2” of 1,900°F block and 6” of 10 lb./cf density rockwool insulation.
