Rohner Powder Recovery Collector

Rohner Finishing Systems (Vancouver, Wash.) has introduced new powder collector modules. The Powder Collector Modules are designed to be compact, high-efficiency, cartridge-style collector modules with standard capacities of 4,000 to 14,000 CFM.

The Rohner Collector Modules are designed with longer filter life, noise reduction, variable frequency drive and smaller footprint size.  The company states its shock wave technology helps clean the entire cartridge filter, maintaining proper airflow while achieving longer filter life. Also, the 4” static pressure design operates at a lower dBa than the competition’s 3” static pressure units helps with noise reduction.

Rohner collector module controls are stated to come standard with a VFD to adjust airflow for optimum transfer efficiency while providing powder containment within the enclosure.

The smaller overall size and cfm range per the three units gives the ability/flexibility to have one design that can be used for various applications and air requirements.

The low-static design of the powder collector modules incorporates a high filter cloth-to-air ratio, constant digital transducer filter static monitoring, and automatic cycle start/stop back pulse filter cleaning. These factors result in the reduction of blower HP and lower compressed air requirements, which extends filter life and reduces energy consumption.
